Our philosophy is quite different from a bank, even though our services are similar. The Latrobe Area Hospital Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit organization. The purpose of our credit union is to improve the financial strength and stability of our members by affording them opportunities to achieve their financial goals. Providing courteous, confidential and efficient service enables us to maintain the credit union’s long term financial strength and safeguard member assets, which is our greatest responsibility.

When you become a Credit Union member, you become one of the owners. You help elect the officers and board members, and you can volunteer to hold an office yourself. 

WHO MAY BELONG?

The field of membership shall be limited to those having the following common bond:

• Employees, doctors, medical staff, and technicians, who work for Excela Health Corporation, headquartered in and supervised from Greensburg, PA, and its wholly-owned subsidiaries; volunteers who work under staff supervision; medical employees of staff doctors.
   
• Employees of Select Specialty Hospital, a division of Select Medical Corporation, who work in Latrobe, PA.
   

Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union; employees of this credit union; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment; members of their immediate families or household; and organizations of such persons.
